Appointment Process
- Call us directly at (02)2826-4400 ext.3999, or book your appointment physically at the Health Management Center located on the 12th floor of the first medical building.
- Fill in an appointment form found on either our website, the Cheng Hsin Hospital App or the Cheng Hsin General Hospital Health Management Center official LINE account. A specialist will contact you within one business day.
- Email us at:hec@chgh.org.tw. Your full name, phone number, and email will be requested.
- If this is your first visit to Cheng Hsin Hospital, please provide a copy of both sides of your ID card and NHI card or your passport information to build a medical record.
- After your appointment is complete, our center will send out an ‘examination notices’ document and an examination toolkit’ through the mail. Once received, please read and review these thoroughly.
Appointment Notices
- For Painless gastrointestinal endoscopy, please inform the specialist if you are taking any anticoagulant drugs (Aspirin, Bokey, Plavix, Warfarin, or Coumadin) for heart disease, ginkgo, fish oil, or any blood-activating medicine.
- Stool Examination: Avoid menstruation period and hemorrhoids bleeding period.
- Urine Examination: Avoid menstruation period.
- X-Ray Examinations: Like CT (Computed Tomography) scans, bone density testing, and breast imaging, pregnant individuals should not undergo these examinations.

Q. Can I change the items in my health screening packages?
A.
Every health screening package has its unique focus. If you would like to add any other health examinations, please contact our specialist who will plan the package for you to tailor it to your needs and provide a quote.
Q. What are the methods of payment? Is a deposit required?
A.
No deposit is required. Please make the payment on the day of the examination at the counter. We accept cash, Debit card, and credit card. (except American Express and Diners cards)
Q. How long will I have to wait after the examination before receiving my report?
A.
The health examination report is estimated to be delivered within 14 business days, either by mail to your home or collected at the hospital. If there are any questions concerning the contents of the report, please contact the number listed on the report: 02-28264400 ext.3927.
Q. During the examination, why can’t I wear nail polish or gel nails?
A.
Colonoscopy requires anesthesia and the interpretation of peripheral blood circulation, please remove all the nail polish or gel nails on your finger and toenails.
Q. Can a polyp(s) be removed when it is found during the colonoscopy?
A.
The doctor will evaluate the polyp(s) size to determine a suitable method of polypectomy. If a polypectomy is conducted then the cost is NT$8000/procedure. If a biopsy is conducted then it is NT$979/polyp.
Q. Can hemorrhoidectomy be performed during the gastroenterology anesthesia?
A.
No. The hemorrhoidectomy is performed by a surgeon, and the gastroenterology is performed by a physician. If a hemorrhoidectomy is needed, then the surgery should be scheduled through the Colorectal outpatient clinic.
Q:I have made an appointment for a health screening session, but if I wish to change the appointment date, how early should I notify the hospital?
