Photon-Counting CT Scanner
The Center has invested NT$200 million in Siemens’ latest Photon-Counting CT (NAEOTOM Alpha), featuring revolutionary technology notable for its high resolution, low noise, and high-speed dual-source scanning. This system effectively minimizes artifacts from coronary calcification, stents, or prosthetic valves while reducing the required contrast dose, ensuring safe and precise cardiac diagnostic imaging. For pulmonary exams, the scanner leverages low-dose, high-resolution imaging integrated with AI-powered tumor detection software to enhance diagnostic sensitivity and accuracy, providing a comprehensive medical safeguard for every client.
3T Whole Body MRI scanner
To provide high-quality imagery results, the Health Center imported the 3T MRI scanner, the latest top model from Siemens, Germany to cater to our customers. This MRI scanner has distinctive features of rapid, high-quality imaging, zero radiation, high signal strength, and high resolution. This scanner can complete a whole-body MRI scan including the brain, head and neck, breast, chest, abdomen, pelvic cavity, cervical spine, thoracic spine, and lumbar spine in 90 minutes.
Digital X-Ray Machine
The center uses digital X-ray imaging equipment. Digital image processing and transmission reduces radiation dose and provides higher-quality imaging.
Dual energy x-ray absorptiometry bone densitometer
The center uses the DXA whole-body dual-energy X-ray absorptiometer (HOLOGIC Horizon W), which is recognized by the International Society for Clinical Bone Density Testing (ISCD) as a standard instrument for measuring bone density. Accurate measurement and risk assessment of the lumbar spine and hip joint bone density can be completed within 3 minutes. This assessment aims to reduce the chance of complications caused by osteoporosis.
Ultrasound
The center provides ultrasound examinations for the breast, thyroid, prostate, abdomen, carotid artery, gynecology, and heart.
The ultrasound examination utilizes ultra-high-frequency sound waves to pass through the human body. It does not emit any form of radiation, making it a safe and non-invasive examination.
